About Lohabour
Furniture Shaped by Experience.
Rooted in generations of furniture-making experience, Lohabour combines traditional craftsmanship, modern manufacturing and custom design to create furniture for contemporary spaces around the world.
WHO WE ARE
A Furniture Heritage Built Over Generations.
Lohabour's story began with timber and joinery long before the company became the furniture manufacturer it is today. Across generations, experience in materials, woodworking and furniture production evolved into a broader approach to custom furniture manufacturing.
Today, Lohabour works with designers, contractors, developers, retailers and businesses to develop and manufacture furniture for residential, hospitality and commercial environments. Our work brings together the knowledge gained through decades of furniture making with the capabilities of modern production.
From Timber to Complete Furniture Projects.
A HISTORY OF MAKING FURNITURE
A History of Making Furniture
-
1960s
The Beginning
The foundations of the Lohabour story were established in the 1960s through the Tang family timber business in Hunan and Guangdong. Working with timber and local resources created an early understanding of materials, joinery and the practical requirements of furniture production.
-
1980s–1990s
From Timber to Joinery
The next generation expanded the family's experience into furniture and joinery production in Guangdong. The focus remained on understanding materials and developing furniture suited to changing lifestyles and practical needs.
-
Early 2000s
OEM & Export
As China's furniture manufacturing industry developed, Lohabour increasingly worked with international customers through OEM production. Furniture began reaching markets across Southeast Asia, North America, Africa and other international destinations.
-
2006
Lohabour Custom Furniture
Lohabour established its custom furniture brand and developed a stronger focus on contemporary design, personalized furniture and international projects. This marked a transition from manufacturing primarily for others to building a more complete custom furniture capability.
-
2012
Craft + Technology
As demand for more personalized furniture increased, Lohabour continued developing a manufacturing approach that combined modern production technology with skilled craftsmanship. Woodworking, metal fabrication, CNC machining, welding and modern finishing processes expanded the company's ability to work with different materials and create increasingly complex furniture. The objective was simple: use technology for consistency, use craftsmanship where detail matters.
-
Today
A Modern Furniture Manufacturer
Today, Lohabour develops and manufactures custom, contract, OEM and ODM furniture for residential, hospitality and commercial projects. Working across wood, metal and combined-material furniture, the company brings together design, engineering, manufacturing and finishing capabilities for projects in different markets. The experience accumulated over generations continues to influence how we approach materials, design, manufacturing and quality.
THEN
NOW
THEN & NOW
Where Craft Meets Modern Production.
Furniture manufacturing has changed considerably over the decades. Technology has made precision, repeatability and production efficiency possible at a scale that was once impossible. But machinery alone does not create good furniture. Lohabour combines modern manufacturing methods with the experience of skilled furniture makers — CNC machining, controlled production and modern finishing processes provide consistency, while experienced craftsmen bring attention to construction, materials and the details that define the finished piece.
Technology for Precision.
Craftsmanship for Detail.
OUR APPROACH

Modern manufacturing processes bring the approved design into repeatable production, from individual pieces to complete project packages.
CUSTOM · OEM · ODM
We Give Form to Your Ideas.
Not every project begins with a finished product. Some customers arrive with detailed drawings. Others have a 3D concept, a reference image, an existing piece of furniture or simply an idea. Lohabour works with different starting points and develops them toward production.
Our capabilities cover design development, engineering, prototyping, material selection and manufacturing, allowing creative ideas to be translated into furniture that can be produced consistently.
LOHABOUR TODAY
Built for Projects.
Lohabour operates as a custom furniture manufacturing partner for projects where design, production and coordination need to work together. We can support individual custom pieces, coordinated furniture collections and larger project requirements.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Good Furniture Starts With Understanding.
Understanding the material.
Understanding the space.
Understanding how the furniture will be used.
Understanding how it needs to be manufactured.
For us, customization is not simply changing a dimension or finish. It is about finding the right relationship between design, material, function and production.
Make it beautiful.
Make it work.
Make it well.
