Contemporary Comfort in Earth and Grey Tones.

01 / Design Direction

Contemporary Comfort in Earth and Grey Tones.

The furniture language follows a contemporary and understated direction, combining neutral colours, soft textures and simple modern forms.

Earth tones and shades of grey create a calm visual environment, allowing the furniture to integrate naturally with the architecture and interior finishes. Rather than relying on excessive decoration, the design focuses on proportion, comfort and material coordination.

02 / Guestroom Furniture

Furniture Designed Around the Guest Experience.

The guestroom furniture package combines the essential elements required for comfortable hotel living. Beds, seating, tables and supporting furniture are coordinated to create a consistent interior environment while maintaining clear and practical functions.

The restrained forms allow the furniture to work naturally within the room layout. Proportions, colours and finishes are carefully balanced so that individual pieces contribute to the overall feeling of comfort without overwhelming the space.

03 / Sleeping Experience

Designed Around a Better Night’s Sleep.

The bed is one of the most important elements within a hotel guestroom. At Hyatt Regency Hengqin, the sleeping environment combines a simple modern bed design with an independent pocket-spring mattress using Tencel fabric.

The bed is predominantly finished with grey water-resistant upholstery, creating a soft and contemporary appearance while supporting the practical requirements of hotel operation. The design keeps the sleeping area comfortable and visually calm.

Material Palette

Soft Textures. Practical Finishes.

The furniture palette combines neutral colours, warm earth tones and practical hospitality finishes. Material selection supports both the visual character of the guestrooms and the repeated everyday use expected within a hotel environment.

Grey Upholstery

Neutral grey upholstery gives the bedroom furniture a soft contemporary appearance and integrates naturally with the wider interior palette.

Water-Resistant Fabric

Practical upholstered surfaces support everyday hotel use while helping simplify routine cleaning and maintenance.

Tencel Mattress Fabric

Tencel fabric is used on the mattress as part of the sleeping comfort specification.

Earth-Tone Finishes

Warm neutral finishes create visual continuity between beds, seating, tables and other loose furniture elements.

A Complete Furniture Language for the Guestroom.

The furniture package extends beyond the bed to create a complete environment for modern hotel living. Bed-end stools, two-person sofas, coffee tables, dining tables and chairs are coordinated through their proportions, colours and material finishes.

The combination of these elements creates a unified furniture language while allowing each piece to perform a clear function. The result is an interior that feels comfortable, refined and practical for both short and extended stays.
