Project Overview
Classic Hospitality Furniture with a Refined American Character.
Located in Jiaozhou, Qingdao, Sheraton Qingdao Jiaozhou Hotel combines spacious guest accommodation with a refined hospitality environment designed around comfort and traditional luxury.
The hotel interior brings together classic American furniture influences and neoclassical elements. From the elegant reception hall and its central crystal chandelier to the guestrooms, dining areas and lounge spaces, the interior is defined by a sophisticated and formal character.
For this project, Lohabour contributed furniture for hospitality spaces including lobby sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, side tables, dining furniture and mattresses. The furniture combines solid wood construction, upholstered surfaces and carefully considered proportions to create a durable and comfortable environment suited to a five-star hotel.

01 / Design Direction
Classic American Style with Neoclassical Detail.
The furniture language reflects the hotel's classic American character, complemented by neoclassical architectural details and a strong sense of traditional hospitality.
Rather than following a highly contemporary aesthetic, the furniture uses substantial proportions, rich upholstery and carefully shaped details to create an atmosphere of elegance and permanence. The result is a refined interior language suited to formal hotel reception, lounge and dining environments.

02 / Lobby Furniture
Furniture Designed for a Grand Arrival.
The lobby is one of the defining spaces of a hotel, establishing the first impression for arriving guests. At Sheraton Qingdao Jiaozhou, the reception environment combines generous proportions, classical detailing and luxurious finishes to create a strong sense of arrival.
Lohabour supplied loose furniture elements including sofas, armchairs, coffee tables and side tables. Each piece was selected around the architectural character of the space, creating comfortable seating areas while maintaining the formal and elegant atmosphere of the hotel.

Material selection reinforces the traditional character of the furniture. Solid wooden feet provide a substantial structural presence, while high-grade flannel and velvet upholstery introduce softness, texture and visual richness.
The combination creates furniture that feels both elegant and robust. Wooden structural elements provide stability, while upholstered seating offers the comfort required for guests spending time in lobby, lounge and dining environments.

A Consistent Furniture Language Across Shared Spaces.
The hotel's hospitality experience extends from the reception area into dining, lounge and social spaces. Furniture in these environments needs to provide comfort while maintaining the same visual character established throughout the interior.
Dining tables and chairs, lounge seating, coffee tables and side tables follow the project's classic design direction. Their proportions, materials and finishes work together to create a coherent furniture language across the hotel's shared spaces.
