Project Overview
Tropical Hospitality Shaped Around Indoor and Outdoor Living.
Located in Canggu, Bali, Aston Canggu Beach Resort is a four-star resort positioned within one of Bali's emerging coastal destinations, known for its surf culture and connection to the Indian Ocean.
The resort features 93 guestrooms, including 40 Superior Rooms, 52 Deluxe Rooms and 1 Suite. Beyond the guestrooms, the hotel includes dining, bar and outdoor leisure environments designed around the tropical character of the location.
For this project, Lohabour contributed furniture solutions across guestrooms, dining and outdoor hospitality spaces. The furniture combines natural-looking materials, woven elements, upholstered seating and practical outdoor finishes suited to a tropical resort environment.

01 / Design Direction
Furniture Inspired by the Tropical Environment.
The furniture concept reflects the relaxed character of a tropical resort, combining natural materials, warm colours and tactile surfaces with practical hospitality requirements.
Wood structures, woven elements and fabric upholstery create a warm and informal atmosphere, while simple contemporary forms allow the furniture to integrate naturally with the architecture and landscape. The overall approach is designed around comfort, durability and indoor-outdoor living.

02 / Guestroom Furniture
Comfortable Interiors for Tropical Resort Living.
The guestrooms are designed around a relaxed hospitality experience where furniture needs to feel comfortable, practical and visually connected to the tropical setting.
Wood-based furniture, upholstered seating and carefully coordinated tables create a warm interior environment. The combination of natural-looking finishes and soft fabrics provides a comfortable atmosphere suited to guests spending time both inside the room and around the wider resort.
03 / Outdoor Furniture
Designed for Life Under the Bali Sun.
Outdoor furniture in a tropical resort environment faces very different conditions from indoor furniture. Exposure to sunlight, humidity and frequent use requires materials and finishes selected with outdoor performance in mind.
The furniture collection includes outdoor chaise lounges, round sun beds and swing chairs designed around relaxation and leisure. Weather-resistant materials and woven surfaces help create comfortable outdoor spaces while supporting the demands of a resort environment.

The resort experience extends into its dining and social spaces. Aston Canggu Beach Resort features two dining destinations, including Score Sports Bar and the rooftop UpZscale Sky Dining & Bar.
Furniture within these environments needs to support both everyday hospitality operation and the relaxed atmosphere expected from a tropical resort. Dining tables, chairs, sofas and complementary furniture combine practical construction with natural materials and warm finishes to create inviting spaces for guests to gather.
